About Us
Rachel Riley is an award-winning British brand which has been dressing Royal babies and children for over 25 years. The collections are sold worldwide in leading department stores, independent shops and childrenswear websites. Traditional craftsmanship techniques are used throughout such as hand embroidery, hand smocking and motif intarsia for knitwear using exclusively the softest, finest fabrics and yarns. Everything is lovingly designed in the UK. Many of our prints are exclusive and designed in-house and the footwear is produced in Rachel’s atelier in the Loire Valley, France.
OUR FOUNDER
Rachel created her brand in 1998 when her children were young, making clothes for family and friends using her expertise in sewing, knitting and pattern-cutting.
With Rachel’s energy and determination, she grew the company from a mail order business to the globally recognised brand it is today.
OUR CRAFT
Rachel Riley is committed to maintaining the tradition of using artisan techniques to create the finest and most comfortable clothes for babies and children. Many of our prints are designed in-house and the footwear is made by hand by local shoemakers in Rachel’s atelier in the Loire Valley in France.
OUR INSPIRATION
Rachel Riley grew up in London and has enjoyed a lifelong passion for the classic designs and style of the 50s & 60s and has collected vintage childrenswear for decades. These precious pieces have helped define the brand's aesthetic: making heirloom keepsakes to be passed down to future generations.

ELOISE AT THE PLAZA
A collection of dresses, separates, pyjamas and outerwear in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Kay Thompson’s ‘Eloise at The Plaza’. The collection was inspired by the adorable illustrations of Eloise by Hilary Knight and is sold at the iconic New York landmark hotel.
THE DORCHESTER
An adorable capsule collection created exclusively for the Dorchester Hotel, London. The range features exclusive prints designed around a London theme. ‘Take me to The Dorchester’ features an iconic London taxi and bus illustration and ‘Take me to tea at The Dorchester’ features a cupcake and tea party theme.
